Stephen Yas, AIA, APA, RIBA
President of YAS Architecture, LLC

Stephen Yas is President and Owner of YAS Architecture, where he has been project designer on all firm design work since its founding in 1990. Yas works closely with the firm’s Project Architects, and leads the firm’s new business development efforts. Prior to co-founding his creative architecture, urban design, and interior design firm, Yas worked at The Architects Collaborative in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Lohan Associates (formerly the office of Mies van der Rohe) in Chicago, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill on international projects, and the Oxford Planning Group in England. While in England, he studied with Gordon Cullen and David Reed at Oxford "Brooks" University. Later he worked with Rami Karmi at the Ministry of Housing in Israel on a master growth plan for the country and as team leader on a 10,000 dwelling unit New Town, north of Jerusalem.
